Biography:
A four member group composed of MCs, Qwaizy Illeon aka. Madd Camelion, Lowkey Da Boy Wonder aka. Doc Kaylow, Owpo aka. Jaime Labrador, and D-Coy aka. Wakin Burdado.
They were among first group of artists under Dongalo Wreckords and with collaboration and production from Chill’s Electric Chair Entertainment, released their first studio album, Ikatlong Mundo back in 1997.
After leaving Dongalo Wreckords, the group formed Madd World Entertainment, which includes former Dongalo groups such as Chinese Mafia and BB Clan. And along with veteran rapper Denmark, formed Circulo Pugantes.
Madd Poets is known for their soft boombap beats and conscious lyrics plus subject matter while maintaining an “upbeat” vibe.
